Dr. Nicole Duncan is an Advanced Systems Manager at Ball Aerospace, supporting the Civil Space business unit. In this role, Dr. Duncan is responsible for the development and execution of new business opportunities within the company’s Heliophysics portfolio.
Prior to joining Ball, Dr. Duncan was a Physicist at the University of California, Berkeley, where she supported hardware development for NASA’s Gamma Ray Imager/Polarimeter for Solar flares (GRIPS) Antarctic Balloon mission; was a member of the science operations team for NASA’s Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (RHESSI) mission; and studied the energization of particles during solar flares.
Dr. Duncan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
