The inaugural Glenn Symposium focused on advancements in aerospace technology including power and propulsion, autonomy and communications, low boom supersonics, hypersonics, and more. Discussion also encompassed humans returning to the moon, including challenges associated with the 2024 mission.

The symposium took place at the Global Center for Health Innovation (Huntington Convention Center) in downtown Cleveland with an opening reception on Wednesday, July 10, at the NASA Glenn Visitors Center, followed by sessions and speakers on Thursday, July 11, and Friday, July 12. On Wednesday, July 10, attendees had the opportunity to tour NASA’s world-class test facilities at Plum Brook Station, which houses the world’s largest and most powerful space environment simulation facilities.
