Arjan is the General Manager for the General Electric Aviation Engineering Advanced Technology Organization. Arjan brings to this role 22 years of advanced technology, new product introduction and leadership experience. With the future technology development needs of the Next Generation Engine, Arjan is uniquely qualified for this role as he led the development of the LEAP-1B product line through all phases of the NPI execution cycle and transitioning the product team into Services Engineering to support the fielded product. He brings his experience of seeing an engine from concept to service as we design the future. Prior to his role in developing the Leap-1B product, Arjan led the Preliminary Design team where he worked the initial design for both the LEAP and 9X engines. Arjan has also held leadership roles supporting the CFM Engineering Systems team as well the Rotating Parts Engineering team. Arjan gained practical experience with six-sigma through supporting the structures team in a black belt role. Early in his career, Arjan built deep technical expertise in the structures team supporting the CF34 and GEnx engines.
