AAS is currently accepting nominations for our prestigious AAS Awards. This is a tremendous opportunity to recognize those who have made or are making significant contributions to space science and exploration.  

AAS Awards recognize teams and individuals who contribute to the space industry through science, academia, engineering, management, and other criteria. Prominent AAS awards include the Space Entrepreneurship Award, the Carl Sagan Award, the JFK Astronautics award, and several others. 

SPECIAL AWARD: The AAS Lifetime Achievement Award is open for nominations as well. This award is only presented every 10 years (on the anniversary of AAS’ founding), to recognize an individual who has made sustained personal contributions to the field of astronautics. Please submit your nomination of very deserving candidates for this special acknowledgment.
